🚀 AI, Judgment Day — The Counterfeit Before the Real ✝️

There is something increasingly unsettling about the direction technology is taking. AI, autonomous systems, digital identity, biometrics and programmable money are developing together, each making the next step possible. It is a technological domino effect — and perhaps one day humanity will reach a point from which there is no easy way back. Strangely, Hollywood has already given this future a name: Judgment Day. In The Terminator, artificial intelligence becomes autonomous, turns against humanity and initiates a global catastrophe called Judgment Day. It is fiction. But what if the deeper significance is not that Hollywood predicted the biblical Judgment Day, but that it created a technological imitation of it?

📖 The Judgment That Already Happened

A post-tribulational reading does not require us to wait for a secret resurrection before the final appearing of Christ. The prophetic picture can be understood as containing distinct stages. Daniel 7 presents the Ancient of Days sitting in judgment, the books being opened, and the Son of Man receiving dominion. In this framework, AD 70 represents a decisive judgment upon Israel — the collapse of the old covenant order and the vindication of the Son of Man. It can also be understood as a spiritual resurrection: an old order judged, while a new covenant reality is established. But Daniel 12 takes us beyond that historical judgment. There we encounter the final resurrection: some awaken to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12 therefore brings the earlier Daniel 7 imagery into the larger picture wherever it applies, while pointing toward the ultimate resurrection and judgment. Jesus confirms this distinction in John 5:28–30. A coming hour will bring resurrection — some to life, others to judgment.

⚠️ First the Counterfeit?

This makes the Terminator concept strangely relevant. Before humanity reaches the biblical Judgment, could it first create its own technological imitation — a system capable of identifying, evaluating, controlling and ultimately deciding who may participate in society? A machine becoming judge is not the real Judgment. It is a counterfeit of divine authority. And Jesus warned that many would come in His name, deceiving many. Matthew 24:5. Perhaps the danger is not that AI becomes God, but that humanity begins to build systems that imitate things belonging to God alone: intelligence, authority, identity, judgment — even the power to determine who belongs and who does not.

⏳ The Real Judgment

The Christian therefore should not build faith around a date, including the Feast of Trumpets. Jesus said that no one knows the day or hour — it comes when the Father determines. First may come the technological imitation, testing discernment. Then comes the reality. The final resurrection. The judgment. The gathering of the nations. The question is not whether we can calculate the date. It is whether, when the real Judgment comes, we will be ready. 🐐 The Electronic Goat is watching.
