π’ The Green Orb: From the Pope to βUSβ Greenland β βGoβ Time?
π’ The "Sphere of Humanity"
A massive
green glass orb has just appeared in the hands of Pope Leo XIV.
The sculpture, called the
βSphere of Humanity,β was created in Murano and presented to the Pope by Saint Peter for Humanity. Its stated message is about human dignity, conscience and what should remain human in the age of artificial intelligence.
That is the official meaning.
But the image raises another question:
Have you seen that green orb before?
π’ The Symbol
A glowing green sphere is one of those images that already carries a remarkable amount of cultural baggage.
In
Heavy Metal (1981), the green Loc-Nar is a cosmic sphere representing ultimate evil, moving across worlds and civilizations.
In
The Lord of the Rings, the PalantΓr is another mysterious sphere β an object through which distant events can be seen and knowledge can become power.
And in modern esoteric imagery, green orbs are sometimes associated with
Archangel Raphael, traditionally connected with healing. That association, however, belongs more to modern spiritual imagery than to established Christian iconography.
Then there is
Green Lantern.
π Green Means βGoβ?
On September 7,
the White House released an AI-generated video portraying Donald Trump with a glowing Green Lantern ring, accompanied by the character's famous oath.
βIn brightest day, in blackest night...β
Green becomes the color of power, protection and action.
And then there is another word that keeps appearing:
Greenland.
β
βUSβ Greenland
Trump has repeatedly described Greenland as strategically important to the United States, and his latest announcement about Greenland adds another layer to the strange green wordplay surrounding these events.
Green orb.
Green Lantern.
Greenland.
And then:
βGo.β
Is it just a coincidence?
Probably the safest answer is: we don't know.
But symbols do not need to be intentionally connected to become powerful. Once people recognize a pattern, the pattern itself becomes part of the story.
π The Green Sphere in Heavy Metal
In
Heavy Metal, the green Loc-Nar is described as a glowing sphere whose influence survives across worlds, civilizations and dimensions.
It can appear as treasure.
A jewel.
An object of worship.
A source of power.
Few escape its influence.
That is obviously fiction.
But the image is strikingly relevant to a modern world increasingly shaped by technology, artificial intelligence and systems that promise convenience, security and power.
π€ The Sphere of Humanity
And this brings us back to the Pope.
The official message of the sculpture is almost the opposite of Loc-Nar.
It is a warning about
human dignity in the age of AI.
One green sphere represents a fictional force that dominates humanity.
The other is presented as a reminder that humanity should remain at the center of technological progress.
Perhaps that contrast is more interesting than any conspiracy.
ποΈ So What Are We Looking At?
A glass sculpture?
A pop-culture symbol?
A political coincidence?
A collection of unrelated images that the internet has connected into a story?
Maybe.
But there is one question that fits the E-goat project perfectly:
When technology becomes increasingly powerful, what are we willing to give it?
Our data?
Our privacy?
Our identity?
Our decisions?
Our conscience?
Green may mean βGo.β
But perhaps sometimes the more important word is:
STOP.
π
Watch. Examine. Follow the evidence.
